- Electric drill
- Drill press
- Rubber Mallet
- Combination Wrench
- Pencil
- Yard stick
- Band saw
- Chop saw
- hand saw
- Screws
- 1/2 inch bolts
- 1/2 inch nuts
- cut washers
- washers
- putty knife
- hand sander
- Clamps
- tape measure
- belt sander
- CDX plywood
- paint brush
- Square
- Vice grip
- Jorgenson clamps
- Paper
Procedure - Select a 2ft x 4ft sheet of plywood and 20 ft of 2in x 4in wood
- Cut two 2x4's to the long length of the plywood using either a chop saw, or a hand saw.
- Line up the two cut boards on either side of the ply wood making sure they are flush at were they connect
- measure the distance between the inside of the two boards holding a tape measure to the bottom of the plywood, not the top of the 2x4's
- cut the boards to the appropriate lengths
- put a continuous bead of glue on the 2 inch side of a long 2x4 and attach it to the plywood making sure it is flush, then clamp it on securely.
- flip the board over and put at least 6 screws into the plywood along the length of the 2x4
- Repeat step 7 with the other long 2x4 and then with the shorter 2x4s
- put 2 screws into the end of each of the long 2x4s to connect all of the 2x4s into a box
- Get 2 2x4s that are each at least 18 inches in length
- put a 2x4 on the inside of the box and put them flush with its long side flush with the long side of the box
- measure 4 inches from the end of the board and find the center of the 2x4
- put a piece of scrap wood behind the 2x4 and drill through the mark in the center of the 2x4, make sure that the drill bit is parallel to the ground
- take the 2x4 away and get a compass. use the compass to make a curve with the center being about 1/2 inch away from the hole
- Use a band saw to cut the curve and then sand the rough edges
- repeat steps 11-15 with the adjacent side of the box
- put a bolt through the hole and into the 2x4 making sure to put a washer in between the box and the 2x4
- fasten the bolt with a washer, a cut washer and then a nut.
- put a chalk line at the end of the box were the legs are not and extend it the the other side
- use the chalk line and a square to make sure that the legs are 12 inches off the ground
- take the legs off and cut them along the chalk line with a chop saw. then put them back on.
- Using either a 6in hole cutting drill bit or a drill press, make a six inch hole 9 in ches from the top and 12 from the sides of the board.
- get wood filler and a putty knife and fill in any holes, including the screw holes with putty to make the surface constant, it is ok it the putty is higher than the board
- sand the entire surface of the board so it is smooth
- prime the board after taking the legs off using a brush
- hang the legs and cover them in primer completely
- After everything dries, attach the legs and stand it up
- paint with any design desired
Things I learned during this project - During this project I learned how to help teach other people how to use various tools.
- I learned how to use Wood putty and a sander to make a rough surface into a smooth one.
- I learned to wait in lines for tools such as a chop saw.

Statistics show that in the U.S., there are about 38 million licensed drivers over age 65; about 1/8 of our population. By 2024, this figure will DOUBLE to 25%.

- If drivers do not bring enough money in, they will be fired: The owner wants money, and not just money, a lot of money. The driver too is in the same condition, he wants money, so it's a 50–50 thing and that may lead to road accidents (Matatu driver 8). A handful of the drivers were salaried, but most were paid based on the number of passengers.
